What can and cannot be done with the content

PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: When content is marked as "Public communication permitted" it means that dissemination of the content is possible. It's important to bear in mind the types of media specified (TV, internet, radio, printed media, all media).

TRANSFORMATION: When content is marked as "Transformation permitted" it refers to the act of modifying or altering the original work to create something new on the basis of the original. This process must involve a significant change to the original work, such as adaptations, translations, musical arrangements, derived works or reinterpretations. We do not consider a mere change of format of a photograph as a transformation, but remaking a video with clips from another would be.

ATTRIBUTION : When content is marked as "attribution required" it means that it is compulsory to credit the original author of the work, whether at the foot of the photo or text, or using a © symbol or a watermark.

COMMERCIAL USE : When content is marked as "commercial use" it means that its use is permitted for commercial purposes, in other words, involving economic gain.

EXPIRY DATE It's essential that you pay attention to the date on which usage rights expire. There is very little content available with an open-ended usage date.

TERRITORY : Nearly all BrandCentre content can be used throughout the world, but occasionally this is not possible. Before using material please check the territories in which it can be used. Bear in mind that the concept of "territoriality" does not exist on the internet and to use content in online media you'll have to choose content with worldwide territoriality.

ASSIGNMENTS TO THIRD PARTIES ssignments to third parties: Assigning the downloaded material to third parties is not permitted. Make sure that whoever downloads the material is its assignee.
